About Us

Shaun Harrison, Owner of PG Global Garage was born in Leland, Lancashire England in the mid 60’s.  At the time was a predominantly industrial town. Home of the Leland Motors.

 Shaun grew up with the curiosity and thirst of knowledge for everything and anything that was mechanically operational, or in most cases, the lack of.

He attended Wellfielde High School in Leland, moving onto a higher Education attending WR Tuson Collage in Preston.  This is where Shaun was able to expanded in his passion. Shaun’s first employment was local garage working on all European vehicles.

In the early years he  worked on his friends dairy farm where  he was hands on in agriculture, working the earth feeling the dirts on his hands, repairing and fabricating farm machinery was a match. 

Shaun spent 6 years working on the farm, which he loved very much.  He then learned he could attend exchange school with the US. Ohio State University to be exact.

1989, a young eager immigrant traveled to the United States of America, leaving behind all he knew and loved traveling to The land of Opportunity.

Quickly upon Shaun arrival, he was employed in Xenia Ohio. Guess Brothers Farms, large Corporate Farm, one of the largest in the MidWest. 

Here he worked for 12 years on all operational machinery, Ford, New Holland, Western Star, Volvo. Farming was the perfect environment to allow him to freelance his fabrication abilities and uniques skills.

It then became time for Shaun to move on, grow. 16 Years of Employment through The Greater Dayton RTA Shaun had a position as a Mechanic, here he worked on Detroit Diesel, Voith Transmission, Cummins engines and Allison transmissions and DinexIO Systems and Allen Bradley PLC.

From The Area Transit Authority to a locally family owned garage that also specializes in the European vehicles, again where Shaun showed his expertise in this field, his reputation is known locally and nationwide, and internationally  for his outstanding honest professionalism as the , “ Original Foreign Guy”.

Hands down, there isn’t a mechanic that has shown the depth of knowledge that Shaun Harrison has shown over his 45 years of experience. The list is long of all the vehicles he has worked on, but certainly not limited too. British, German, Asian,  All Domestic brands , ASE Certified, Heavy Duty Trucks T1-T8.
